Brief Job Description
The Facilities Manager oversees the buildings & grounds for Nativity of Mary School & Parish, along with managing a small staff of maintenance workers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Scheduling and Managing maintenance staff
- Maintain, clean & secure all buildings on campus as well as the grounds
- Schedule required inspections for fire and other potential safety hazards
- Responsible for ordering maintenance supplies as well as church supplies
- Oversee building related activities
- Hiring & Training Maintenance staff
- Manage the upkeep of all equipment
- Assist in scheduling day to day events
Qualifications: Required Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience as Facilities Manager or similar position
Desired Skills
- Able to schedule & Manage up to six FT/PT staff members
- Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and boiler system
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
