Job Description:

The candidates selected for this position will be hired as a full-time Nature's Medicines employee, but will primarily work at Coastal Healing, located at 248 State Rd, Westport, MA 02790.

As a Post-Harvest Processing Packager, you will work alongside our processing team to assist in the packaging of cannabis products. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Weighing and measuring cannabis products
• Operating packaging equipment
• Labeling products accurately and consistently
• Ensuring that all products are packaged securely and safely for transport
• Keeping track of inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies
• Following all safety procedures and guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS and EDUCATION:

• At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US with proper employment documentation.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience and knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture preferred.
• Previous manufacturing/ laborer experience preferred.
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to carry that weight a minimum of 50 feet without mechanical assistance.
• Working safely in a warehouse setting.
• Able to sit for extended periods of time (8 hrs a day) Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork.

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPOSURE:

• Exposure to fertilizer, dust, odors, extreme high heat, extreme low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables.
• Must be able to speak and communicate verbally in English at a minimum of conversation level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.25 - $18.25 per hour
