SUMMARY
As an Operations Leadership Intern in Packaging, you will be exposed to many areas within Nature’s Way Operations including the overall business/production side of how vitamins and supplements are made, management of budgets, gain valuable leadership skills, work on continuous improvement projects, and gain knowledge of how the operations of Nature’s Way works.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Gain knowledge working alongside production employees in various departments; learning different lines in Packaging.
- Help lead/supervise a line in the department to ensure its running smoothly.
- Have the opportunity to work with management on their daily/weekly tasks for their department.
- Work through continuous improvement projects including changeover improvement.
- All other duties or projects as assigned.
- Strong computer skills are needed (Microsoft Suite).
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work well with others and build relationships.
- Must possess the ability to work independently, problem solve and use good business judgement.
