Naumann/Hobbs is looking for YOU to fill our Warehouse Inventory Manager position in our Phoenix, AZ corporate office.

Naumann/Hobbs Material Handling, Inc. sells, rents, services, and supplies parts on an extensive line of material handling products. The Warehouse Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage and management of serialized inventory and warehouse operations. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

What you will do:

  • Manages warehouse in compliance with company policy and vision.
  • Manages (1) yard coordinator employee.
  • Oversees incoming and outgoing stock and direct ship serialized inventory orders.
  • Reports regularly on stock inventory control and optimization solutions.
  • Responsible for warehouse layout and ensuring efficient space utilization.
  • Works closely with sales coordination to schedule incoming deliveries and customer shipments.
  • Handles all shipping and delivery paperwork for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Maintains barcoding software and reconciles with company ERP equipment records.
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
  • Maintain superior standards of health and safety.
  • Oversee and ensure successful cycle and annual physical inventory counts.


Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages the yard coordinator. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this/these associates. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage staff
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Forklift Certified
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices

Education and Experience:

  • HS Diploma
  • 3 years of successful experience within a management function in a similarly fast paced or high-volume environment
  • High attention to detail with proven organizational skills is a must
  • Track record of delivering extraordinary customer service
  • Handled confidential information with discretion
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability
  • Must take initiative and demonstrate excellent judgment when making decisions and solving problem
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
  • Exceptional time management; proactive with a strong sense of urgency
  • Adaptable and consistently and positively contributed in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices and strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
