MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED Certificate.

Associate's Degree in Office Administration, Business Administration or Related Field

2-3 years experience in benefits administration and/or personnel work

2-3 years experience in customer services

2-3 years experience in clerical work

Must have excellent customer service, positive communication, and a self-motivated team player

Valid Driver's License (subject to motor vehicle record review)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

Makes job offers to new hires and coordinates and schedules start dates and benefits arrangements.

Initiates MVR & Background Check for new hires.

Makes contact with potential hires obtain information or providing an update.

Manually screens incoming employment applications and establishes applicant pool for hiring supervisor.

Communicates CDL information and due dates to new hires.

Responsible for SAP entry of personnel information, benefits information, etc.

Assists in posting advertisements for local newspapers and internet ads.

Participates and presents benefit information at New Employees Orientations.

Utilizes automated web based applications to generate job vacancy announcements.

Provides employees with information of personnel policy and procedures.

Maintains tracking log of temporary employment and announced positions company wide.

Maintains confidentiality at all times.

Post data to various records and forms, makes and maintains charts, gathers data from various sources and prepares reports, answers and files correspondence and performs similar duties the exercise of clerical and office skills.

Assists with company-wide benefits/employment programs including dissemination of benefits information and maintain records for benefits/employment activities.

Provides information to employees on available benefits, and their eligibility for such benefits.

Conducts new employee indoctrination and apprises employee of benefit options.

Check and process payment billing statements, as assigned.

Maintains records or source documents data input.

Set up and maintains files and records which may contain confidential information.

Assist in enrollment of participants for Long Term Disability Plan, Supplemental Life Insurance, and the 401 (K) Plan.

Maintain records to assist in processing employee group insurance plan, and/ or enter data into the system

Conducts and/ or participates in meetings and employee benefits presentations.

Schedules and coordinates meetings and facilities which may include travel and lodging arrangements.

Responsible for recruitment activities and provide verification of employment for employees.

Performs other duties as assigned.
