Naval Acquisition Development Program (NADP) with Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer.
Qualifications:
GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Collaborating with others to ensure IT awareness and compliance throughout an organization; 2) Responding to questions or inquiries regarding IT related problems; and 3) Troubleshooting various problems related to IT security.
**NOTE: This experience must be fully and clearly supported in your resume.
GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring IT awareness and compliance throughout an organization; 2) Assisting with the development of solutions to cybersecurity issues; 3) Solving IT and Info Security problems; and 4) Conducting vulnerability scans to detect weakness in systems.
**NOTE: This experience must be fully and clearly supported in your resume.
BOTH: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: "Conducting risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs."
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: "Consults with supervisor and other affected parties on situations requiring major changes in resources on projected schedules."
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: "Plans and coordinates the delivery of an Information Security Awareness training program for end users at all levels in the organization."
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: "Identifies and anticipates server performance, availability, capacity, or configuration problems, resolves installation problems, identifies and mitigates security vulnerabilities and risks; and maintain server integrity and availability."
