Desktop Publishing Technician

Navistar Logistics has an exciting opportunity for a Desktop Publishing Technician.

The Desktop Publishing Tech will report into the Core Operations Manager and provide customer service to Navistar Dealers for returned parts. 

Reverse logistics operation that supports Navistar’s remanufacturing operations. This operations manages the return of used truck parts from our dealers and customers. We must communicate how to properly identify and inspect materials received. This position will be vital in creating publications for dealers and customers. This operation also supports Canada and Mexico operations. This operation processes approximately 4 million pounds and $13 million dollars monthly.

Responsibilities include but not limited to;

• Creating publications
• Develop part criteria
• Train warehouse staff
• Oversee material shipments and maximize space utilization in warehouse

• Bachelor’s degree

OR

• At least 2 years of customer service experience and technical product knowledge

• Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status).

• Experience with Publishing software
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop.
• Excellent written skills
• Microsoft software Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience with truck parts/ cores
• Motivated self-starter/able to work with little supervision
