The Enterprise Master Data Lead is responsible for leading the development and execution of master data management strategies. This role will oversee the creation, control, and enhancement of master data to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency across the organization. It will work cross-functionally as a liaison between business & IT to establish data quality processes and lay the foundations for comprehensive and lasting implementation of data governance. This role will also be responsible for communicating MDM related processes, their adoption and enable priority business use cases.
The Enterprise Master Data Lead will report to the Director, MDM and Contact Center Support, contribute thought leadership to the overall data strategy & governance, spearhead reporting and tracking on MDM domain data quality insights, and meet frequently with IT & Business stakeholders to ensure proper management of enterprise data in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Master Data Management: Oversee the management of enterprise master data elements, including creation, updates, and deletion. Ensures quality of master data in key systems, to support ongoing maintenance and lead evaluation and implementation of MDM solutions.
- Data Quality: Work cross -functionally as a liaison between business and IT to define data domains for MDM, establish data quality processes and lay the foundations for a comprehensive and lasting implementation of data governance. Execute data profiling and data mining to generate insights and recommendations to drive master data related decisions for the business
- Data Governance: Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to understand their master data needs and ensure they are met. Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and implement data strategies and flows
- Team Leadership: Coach and mentor domain knowledge experts across the enterprise and ensure standards are met in each system
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 12 years of analytics or statistical analysis experience
- At least 2 years of experience leading cross functional teams/projects

- At least 8 years of analytics or statistical analysis experience
- At least 2 years of experience leading cross functional teams/projects
OR
- At least 14 years of analytics or statistical analysis experience
- At least 2 years of experience leading cross functional teams/projects
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Informatica MDM, Talend MDM, IBM Cloudpak, Collibra, Alation or similar MDM, data catalog and governance tools.
- Functional knowledge of customer, vehicle, dealer data domains and data tools
- Comfortable with ambiguity and starting work without knowing the full picture.
- Ability to self-motivate and work effectively both independently and with teams.
- Strong facilitation, oral and written communication, including active listening skills. Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated knowledge in multiple IT development and testing disciplines (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, and SCRUM) is a plus.
- Persistence when dealing with roadblocks; experience with organizational change management strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Salesforce TCRM, PowerBI, SQL or other related BI platforms and systems strongly preferred.
- Willingness to deepen data literacy knowledge and adopt findings to organizational needs.
