The accountant's role is to provide financial transparency and ensure that the trust operates within the bounds of the law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documentation.
- Record financial transactions, such as income, expenses, and payroll.
- Handle day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring they are properly categorized and recorded.
- Reconcile bank statements to ensure that the company's records match the bank's records.
- Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide an overview of the company's financial health.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry practices to ensure the company's compliance.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Understanding of accounting and financial statements

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the insurance industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
