Peacock's Partner Operations team leads the preparation and readiness workflow for all acquired and originally produced programming for the service. This is an outward-facing group, serving as one of the first touchpoints for productions and content partners, ensuring a seamless operational experience.
The team is hiring an Associate, Partner Operations to assist in the onboarding process for delivery of third-party content, and their requisite programming assets, related metadata, and artwork. Along with working with content partners, you'll also help keep content trackers and metadata documents up to date. You'll assist with notetaking and meeting prep for new content providers, and you'll partner with internal teams including artwork, marketing, and TechOps teams in confirming asset availability and readiness.
The successful candidate will have a general understanding of video encoding and asset preparation and a great ability to stay organized and adapt to changing priorities. Ability to work across multiple high-profile titles while juggling shifting delivery timelines is a must. Experience with multi-language assets such as captions, subtitles, dubs, audio descriptions and metadata is even better.
We're also looking for those who want to help build a new corporate culture. At Peacock we are passionate about movies, TV shows and building a new streaming service from scratch, but we think it's important to have fun while doing so.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2 years experience with streaming media operations and/or TV/film production
- Working knowledge of TV/film production, content delivery, asset management, and metadata
- Understand the post-production/technical side of media as well as understand and grasp creative/artwork specs
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including OneDrive, Excel and SharePoint
- Excellent verbal, organizational, and written communication skills
Desired Characteristics:
- Desire to work a in streaming media operations role preferred
- Comfortable working with CMS systems and/or DAMs
- Experience or internships working with productions, content partners and vendors
- Strong interest in the media industry; experience in the entertainment industry a plus
- Passionate about Film and TV with a deep familiarity of both genres
- General understanding of content operations or administration for a streaming service
- Exceptional attention to detail & ability to multitask across multiple titles and partners
- Highly motivated, willing to learn new things and ability to offer creative solutions
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000
