DIVISION PROFILE
NBCUniversal is a leader in providing entertainment programming to the US and international marketplaces. The Global Television Distribution division is responsible for the distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of linear and digital media. This includes distribution of current and library theatrical movies, direct-to-video movies, documentaries, and specials, plus all forms of television product – scripted TV series, non-scripted TV series, mini-series, animation, and TV movies.
Job Description
OVERVIEW
The Finance Manager position is a critical role within the EMEA Distribution team. The role is responsible for providing financial support to the Kids & Family and EMEA sales teams. This role will report to the Senior Director of Finance and will work collaboratively across the Distribution Finance team, Sales team, Strategy team and Marketing teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for managing all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting (Annual Revenue Budget and Forecasts, Monthly Pacing, Strategic Long-Range Plan) across all territories
- Review and summarize financial results against prior plan by providing variance analysis based on latest business trends and financial drivers.
- Support the Senior Finance Director across the International business.
- Build effective business partner relationships with senior sales executives and their teams
- Proactively reviews financial risks and opportunities
- Provide financial support to the sales teams on deal negotiations
- Manage monthly/quarterly actuals reconciliations of financial systems between SalesForce / SAP / ECLIPS
- Provide analytical support for ad hoc reporting and special projects: top global customers, deal analysis, key series tracker, regional revenue deep dives, etc.
Qualifications
Skills/Experience:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Experienced Finance Manager with senior business partnering experience
- Previous experience of financial planning and analysis
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data in SalesForce, SAP, Excel, other financial systems
- Excellent technical and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver on multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines, be effective and decisive under pressure
- Ability to adapt and work well in a fast-paced, results-oriented and rapidly changing environment
- Team player with interpersonal ability to work with others and collaborate to achieve goals
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter and ability to work independently
