Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the Park Services team members, also including the day to day operation of the cleanliness of the theme park. This individual will ensure that the theme park environment is consistently maintained in a clean, safe & presentable fashion, while complying with all procedures & regulatory requirements. In addition this individual will be responsible for implementing departmental programs focusing on team member & guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions
  • Oversee hiring, training and developing of the Park Services team members.
  • Manage the daily operation of Park Service team members.
  • Ensures that facility cleanliness standards are maintained at all times.
  • Responsible for managing all team members by setting work expectations and leadership standards.
  • Mentors and counsels team members and enforce appropriate policies and procedures ensuring that everything is within compliance of departmental standards
  • Responsible for the development of current and future supervisor team members.
  • Encourages team member development and participate in team member interviews for Lead and Supervisor positions.
  • Oversee and lead workforce planning; including rewarding and recognizing team members; team member events, and TSAT action planning
  • Oversee the development and implementation programs to improve guest and team member satisfaction.
  • Ensure appropriate and timely investigation and responses to guest and team member concerns are met.
  • Oversee all safety procedures and make sure all are understood and followed by all team members.
  • Assists in creating, maintaining and supporting labor and non-labor budgets.
  • Assists with capital projects, ensuring projects stay on budget and are timely in completion.
  • Conduct quality control inspections of all assigned areas
  • Ensures that collective bargaining agreements are upheld by partnering with HR and Labor Relations to maintain positive union relationships
  • Acts as crisis management including guests’ and team member Medical/Emergency situations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High School education required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Operations management experience in theme park or hospitality industry, including experience in guest service.
  • Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and nights as required

  • Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
