What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at NCRealtors?

NC REALTORS® is seeking a proactive, experienced Controller to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller manages the overall direction, coordination, and deliverables of the accounting of the association and related entities. This position carries out supervisory responsibilities for accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, external auditing and monthly financial reporting activities including compliance with all internal controls and reconciliation of membership dues with local boards. Candidates should have:

  • ability to manage staff and delegate to accomplish objectives
  • ability to work well under pressure of deadlines
  • ability to establish good rapport with staff and peers; excellent communication skills required
  • experience developing and implementing strategies to adapt to administrative and policy changes
  • demonstrated mastery of Excel and Denali, familiarity with RAMCO a plus

A bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required, as is demonstrated accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility. Management experience required.

This position will be located in the Greensboro office of NC REALTORS®.
