What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Orthodontic Assistant position at Neal Smiles Orthodontics?
We are a busy orthodontic office that is excited to hire a long-term team member!
We're looking for a committed, loyal, team player to be our scheduling coordinator and clinical assistant. We provide orthodontic treatment to adults and children in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. We are willing to train you in orthodontic assisting and front desk duties within the office. Knowledge of Dolphin Management is a plus!
This position is typically Monday-Thursday, or Tues-Friday 7:30 to 5:30pm, No Nights or Weekends! There is the potential for the schedule to change some weeks to accommodate patients and doctor.
Job requirements:
- Primarily responsible for maintaining health and safety standards required by OSHA.
- Prepping equipment for sterilization in our lab
- Taking records for new and current patients
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Light orthodontic assisting, and willingness to learn other aspects of the office
No experience required - we will train you!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred)
