What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician position at NearU?
Ideal Home Services, a NearU Company in Holly Springs, NC is looking for experienced HVAC Service Technicians.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ability to crawl consistently in attics and crawl spaces, ability to climb ladders to roof tops, work outdoors.
- Ability to diagnose and repair all brands of Residential HVAC equipment, while working under minimum or no supervision.
- In addition, provide knowledge, training, and guidance to HVAC assistants for them to develop the right skills to be able to perform HVAC service work effectively.
- He/she is also responsible for ensuring that the necessary paperwork is accurately, neatly, timely, and thoroughly completed.
- Delivery of consistent excellent customer service that ensures a high level of customer satisfaction is always our goal.
- Must enforce and follow all safety rules, company regulations, safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- This job requires heavy lifting. Must be able to lift 50 to 100#s regularly.
- All other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements:
- Minimum of two years HVAC residential service experience is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- All candidates are subject to pre-employment drug screenings and background checks
- All applicants shall, unless otherwise described in the job requirements, possess a valid drivers license and shall demonstrate safe driving practice by submitting a recent DMV Safe Driving Record.
