We are looking for someone that has a passion for helping others and for learning. Our small Member Services team provides information, education, and direction for our plan members regarding their retirement accounts. We administer six different retirement plans so you'll always be learning something new! M-F, 8-5• Respond to inquiries from retirement plan members, pertaining to their accounts, mainly over telephone, but also in writing and in-person.
• Conduct one-on-one office visits with members either in-person or virtually.
• Respond to inquiries regarding retirement plan laws, agency policies and procedures, and pending legislation.
• Report and explain the workflow for existing written requests and processes to callers.
• Access online records to research and respond to member requests or calculate benefit estimates.
• Process member requests for information and other miscellaneous requests.REQUIREMENTS: At least one year of coursework, training, and/or experience in office support functions, including providing customer service, and/or experience providing service to recipients about benefit plan guidelines.

PREFERRED: Experience in a Call Center or similar setting. Strong skills in math, spreadsheets, written and oral communication, grammar, and spelling.

OTHER: Top candidates may be required to complete typing or writing skills assessments. Regular attendance, punctuality, and dependability is vital to success in this position.• Possess good reasoning skills
• Knowledge and/or experience with Microsoft Office Suite products (Word & Excel)
• Knowledge of general math and enjoy working with numbers
• Ability to perform math calculations
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to have regular attendance and punctuality
• Ability to interact with persons of varying degrees of understanding, regarding the retirement plan(s)
• Ability to interact for extended periods of time using empathy, tact, and courtesy, when communicating with members, co-workers, and the public, in person and over the phone
• Ability to handle difficult individuals and maintain positive internal and external relationships
