Job Summary
Manage the purchasing and supply chain of products used by the company, work closely with the other company functions to ensure actions meet the group’s vision.
Main Responsibilities
- Respond to quote requests by Estimating, Sales, and Customer Service
- Generate Purchase Orders and confirm delivery dates to the required dates
- Maintain strong working relations with vendor bases
- Monitor market conditions that impact price position in the vendor performances and follow-up
- Expedite open Purchase Orders
- Audit invoices prior to payment where discrepancies occur
- Understand overall material market trends
YOUR PROFILE
- Minimum BS in Business Operations
- 2 -3 years of purchasing experience in the industry
- Knowledge of packaging materials is a plus
- Able to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work on a variety of demands at the same time
- Ability to communicate well with others through written and verbal skills.
- Able to make effective and persuasive presentations in all sorts of situations to employee groups and management.
- Ability to respond under pressure situations with clear and decisive action
- Sense of Urgency
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
