What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Survey Technician position at Nelson Surveying, Inc.?
Entry Level Position in the Land Surveying Profession.
Duties:
- Preform land surveying services for a variety of clients and projects types including boundary, topographic, ALTA/ACSM and construction surveys.
- Operate and maintain modern surveying equipment including GPS systems, total stations and data collection devices.
- Work with other crew members while conducting field surveying services in a wide range of environments.
Skills and Education:
- Land Surveying or Civil Engineering experience or education is prefered but not required. (Will train the right candidate)
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Drivers Licence is required.
- Compitent and motivated individual that is able to learn and adapt to challenges encountered during the project.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
