The role: UI/UX Designer
The UI/UX Designer will focus on creating a delightful experience for all Neocis stakeholders – the dentist, dental assistant, and patient. The work includes coordinating with the Engineering team, Product team, and Marketing and Sales teams.
What you'll do
- Conduct user research via various methods, such as interviews with users/stakeholders, competitive analysis, online surveys, and focus groups. Analyze the data into qualitative and quantitative information that guides decision-making.
- Observe clinical cases, labs, and user validations to find opportunities to improve existing products.
- Participate in R&D ideation with the Engineering and Product teams.
- Incorporate creative design activities, including prototyping and graphic design.
- Design user stories to guide the user to accomplish tasks or educate them about the product.
- Design user flows and wireframes, meticulously stepping through each part of the workflow
- Test products on users. Gathering feedback from users based on a minimum viable product
- Consider design with an eye for manufacturability
- Create style guides for design within engineering
- Work closely with Engineering and Marketing to make sure the product follows consistent design elements and addresses the user needs.
What you'll bring
- BS in Design, Computer Science or relevant field, required
- Industry experience of 2 plus years in a commercial environment is required
- Software user interface design
- Hardware design experience, including prototyping and 3D printing
- Workflow design
- Testing design concepts with customer feedback
- Experience with UX prototyping software packages
- Experience in designing user centric product and workflow
- Demonstrated experience with graphics generation

- This is not a supervisory role
- The position will require up to 10% travel in and out of state
