Position Summary Information

Summary
The Program Coordinator supports and promotes the programmatic mission of graduate level education in the College of Graduate Studies. The Program Coordinator will provide support to the College by working directly with faculty and staff of the College and its programs.

Pay Grade: 6
Starting Salary Range: $36,583 - $43,290, commensurate with experience
Location: Rootstown, OH

Principal Functional Responsibilities
1) Clinical Site Coordination:
  • Coordinate with program faculty on student placement at clinical sites.
  • Effectively communicate the clinical partner onboarding/training needs to students and work with students to achieve these needs.
  • Manage records supporting the clinical requirements of students within the college.
  • Develop timelines, implement, organize, improve, and maintain processes and systems to support clinical student placement.
2) Graduate Course Coordination
  • Collaborate with College of Graduate Studies curriculum team to administer specific courses, including coordinating logistics of courses offered at partner sites.
  • Collaborate with Academic Technology Services to enhance utilization of technology within programs.
  • Assist with preparation of new courses.
  • Develop courses within the learning management system.
  • Maintain appropriate records to support course development and coordination.
  • Collaborate with the Office of the Registrar.
3) Compliance: Ensure graduate programs are operating within regulatory and compliance guidelines as established by its governing bodies, associated agencies and the University; maintain necessary documentation; solicit information and prepare all required reports.
4) Special Project: Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education/Degrees: Bachelor’s degree minimum, Master’s degree in education or health related field preferred
Experience: two to four years related work experience in an academic or health-related setting. Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite and database, reporting experience.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and screen and other office equipment. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear and occasionally stand, walk, reach, stoop, or kneel. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
