Title: Outsourcing Assistant Supervisor

Nephron Outsourcing Facility is a 503B outsourcing facility dedicated to creating the highest quality compounds by maintaining current good manufacturing practices to and above the standards set by the FDA. 

Position Summary:

· Communicate with previous and incoming shifts an accurate production update including lot status, equipment issues, and production delays. 

· Serve as a leader for integrity and create/establish a positive morale within the shift. Strive to promote teamwork and efficiency. Be an advocate for keeping a positive attitude while adapting to a fast paced everchanging industry. 

· Troubleshoot issues during production. Ensure unresolved issues are escalated in an appropriate and timely manner. 

· Assist Supervisor with execution of training plan and adjustments as needed. Ensure adjustments are appropriately communicated and followed through with. Bring concerns or deviations from plans to shift supervisor at earliest convenience.

· Required to ensure all production teams are operating efficiently from within the cleanroom daily. 

· Ensure proper breaks and lunches are being taken. Monitor any ongoing trends of employee’s time clock punches in and out of the cleanroom. 

· Ensure that the upcoming shift has all lot components, quadrums, and batch records/protocols as applicable.

· Perform routine cleanroom inventory checks of production supplies such as scales, printers, computers, chairs, etc. 

· Prepare and send shift pass down with accurate and appropriate shift information per provided template.

· Assistant Supervisors may take on Supervisor actions when required per management discretion.

· Performs all other duties as assigned or apparent.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred

· Must obtain and maintain current pharmacy tech registration for South Carolina. 

· Prior Pharmaceutical Industry experience preferred.

· Knowledge of FDA guidelines, cGMP, and GDP are preferred

· Willingness to participate in training and gain other certifications as needed.

· Computer experience: Microsoft Office software.

· MUST PASS DRUG TEST.

· MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER.

· Must speak, write, and read English. 

· Incumbents are required to wear PPE as assigned by management.

· Incumbents are required to comply with proper gowning requirements and other non-specified protective equipment as necessary.

· Incumbents may be required to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, bouffant, and laboratory coats and other non-specified protective equipment as necessary.

· Salary range: Based on experience. 

· Flexible base on product demand.
