Area Sales Manager: 

Responsible for training sales employees, developing effective sales strategies, and ensuring that sales quotas are met for their assigned territory.


This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager.  


  • Supervises daily sales activities for all Home Advisors in assigned territory.
  • Manages performance of assigned Home Advisors.
  • Analyzes sales data to identify territory sales goals and set individual goals for Home Advisors.
  • Manages dispatch of company leads in assigned territory.
  • Partners with Advisors to deliver top notch customer support. 
  • Progress sales strategies to grow sales volume each month.
  • Assists in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new sales teams.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition to establish local criteria for continued team development and growth.
  • In person and virtual training/mentoring to the sales team.
  • Works with other departments to manage sales contracts through the full project lifecycle to ensure prompt install times.
  • Assists Regional Sales Manager and other Sales leaders with new initiatives and growth strategy implementation.
  • Arrange in person and virtual meetings to review company updates and training.
  • Fosters a positive working environment for all Home Energy Consultants in their assigned territory.
  • Foster a Self Generating of Leads by referrals, door knocking and networking. 

Requirements: 

  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solar Sales Experience
  • Enjoy meeting and talking to new people
  • High personal self awareness that reflect our company values
  • Honest, positive attitude and willing to learn
  • Takes initiative
  • Thoughtfully questions why and how we do things and push for what’s right
  • Set the tone of enthusiasm and continuously motivates those within the team
  • BA/BS preferred
  • Previous in-home sales experience preferred
