Average Starting Compensation $28/hr* with $2,000 Sign On Bonus**
- Individual compensation determined by factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities.
**$2,000 Sign On Bonus paid as $1,000 at day 30 of employment and $1,000 at day 90 of employment if required training completed.
Nestle in Springville, UT is hiring industrial Electrical Maintenance Mechanic Trainee's. The Springville, UT location is a Stouffer's Frozen Meals factory. Currently running 7 production lines. Electrical Maintenance Mechanic Trainee's have 12 hr rotating schedules (days/nights)
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Maintains knowledge on all basic production equipment in the plant.
2. Performs final assemblies on all equipment and pre-flights.
3. Maintains equipment by the use of PM systems in AMM
4. Maintains accurate records, log sheets and accounts for all time in AMM
5. Anticipates problems and takes corrective action prior to equipment failure.
6. Performs basic programming and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems.
Performs basic mechanic adjustments, trouble shooting and repairs as assigned
7. Maintains good communications with all departments and supervision.
8. Models the Springville Compass in all work-related activities.
9. Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
1. Must have an Associates Degree in Electrical or Electronics.
2. Must be willing to work Saturdays, Sundays and shutdown, plus any shift as needed.
4. Must be able to work as a team with minimum supervision.
5. Must be able to attend training classes.
6. Must be able to complete assigned PM’s correctly and on a timely basis.
7. Must have good mechanical aptitude, as well as electrical and be knowledgeable of tools.
8. Must have a good attendance record.
9. There will be a required list of tools you need, which include:
a. Tool pouch.
b. Open end wrenches 3/8” to ¾” (combination wrenches may be substituted).
c. Crescent wrench.
d. Channel locks.
e. Needle nose pliers.
f. Screwdriver sets (straight blade and Phillips).
g. Hammers: Ball Pein and plastic or rubber.
h. Allen wrenches (loose ones).
i. Tape measure.
j. Side cutters.
k. Flashlight.
l. Razor knife.
m. Multimeter
n. Wire stripper.
