POSITION SUMMARY
As a Designer, you will be responsible for utilizing software and other design tools to support the factory engineering program. You will prepare conceptual 2D/3D drawings, designs and details for further project development. Maintaining an up-to-date archive of factory and equipment design is also a key function.

The approximate pay range for this position is $66,000.00 to $93,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. Nestl offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits. - Collaborate with Staff Engineers and Electrical/Controls Team to design schematics, process flow diagrams and equipment layouts.
- Interpret technical documents with Engineering assistance, and relay relevant information through drawings and detailed instructions to contractors.
- Investigate plant floor details to develop preliminary and conceptual drawings.
- Maintain and organize drawings and other key documentation for all buildings and equipment in AS-BUILT condition, utilizing AutoDesk Vault. Drawings may be locally produced, provided by corporate engineering, design firms or equipment vendors.
- Generate and pursue innovative solutions to engineering problems.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Drafting, Engineering or related field
- 2 years of experience in process-related drafting and design
OR
- High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in a process-related drafting and design
- Proficiency in utilization of design software and programs (e.g., AutoCAD, Vault, Autodesk, SOLIDWORKS)
Other
- Experience in the food industry and packaging technologies is preferred
