Job Summary

As a Systems Architect you will work as part of a highly techno-functional team of professionals who are responsible for overall architectural design, development, and deployment of cost effective and sustainable technical and application solutions to meet business requirements. Strong organizational skills, technical expertise and attention to detail are key in this customer-focused role.

Essential Functions: 
As a Systems Architect you have high-level responsibility for the overall Systems Architecture, design, development, and deployment of system solutions for functional customers to address their business needs. You will provide a leadership role on technical project teams and handle the most complex project management issues and technical challenges.  You will also work with management and cross-functional peers on long-range projects requiring creative solutions.
 

Job Requirements

  • Systems Architect is the business domain and technology subject matter expert for the business domain he represents and expected to have a thorough understanding of complex IT systems, experienced in enterprise systems integration, and stay up to date with the latest standards, emerging technologies, as well as best practices.

  • Be an IT functional expert representing Supply Chain Manufacturing and Service Logistics Business Domain in the functional areas involving Service Logistics, Install Base, Service Contracts, Licensing, Depot Repair and Inventory Management.

  • Be a Technical expert that engages both within IT and with business unit stakeholders to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business goals.

  • Collaborates with business to understand new business/product offering and be an expert in cross-functional initiatives involving configure to license process. 

  • Translate business requirements using complex methods/models to determine appropriate system solutions and derive functional design MD50 documents.

  • Work closely with technology delivery and development teams to derive technical design documentations.

  • Lead and deliver to business requirements in the form of projects and enhancements.

  • Work closely with business stake holders to derive cost benefit and ROI analysis for the projects and enhancements for prioritization process.

  • Develops, advocates for, and drives the roadmap for the business domain and technology, including lifecycle management, vendor maintenance, security, and long-term capabilities.

  • Develops and administers technology standards for his area, including coding standards, infrastructure, integration, or other design patterns.

  • Performs prototypes or explores new technologies within his business domain or technology and serve as the technical expert for the respective business domain represented.

  • Assists with resolving technical escalations during both enhancements and project implementations, assisting with overcoming technical difficulties.

  • Resolves and aligns conflicts with technical direction or technical selection.

  • Represents business domain and application solutions to governing body.

  • Advocates alongside cross functional teams and Product Managers for matching project investments to Target State Architecture.

  • Guides application for goals, principles, guidelines, and standards throughout solution lifecycle.

  • Works closely with Enterprise Architect as a partner, sounding board, and trusted advisor sharing valuable insights into new solutions and systems roadmap.

  • Provides the technology input to the Product Manager and Enterprise Architect on the multi-year Service Strategy and Target State Architecture.

  • Partners with business stake holders and cross functional teams to create and document solution options and high-level design related to functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Reviews feedback from business stakeholders, cross functional teams, Support Managers, and data he personally collects to identify and advocate for continuous improvement in the business domain or technology, including automations, process changes, or lifecycle management.

  • Manages any major performance degradation or scalability of the applications aligning to business or transactional growth.

  • Role defines the environment management strategy, system security plan, and user access design.

Qualifications

  • 8 Years of strong working experience and in-depth understanding of Core ERP Supply Chain Modules such as Inventory, Order Management, Service Logistics, Depot repair, Install Base and Service Contract Modules and related Processes
  • Business Process expertise on Configure to License, Order processing, Subscription process, Install base configuration and maintenance, warranty creation and customer support. 
  • Architecture experience in evaluating end to end lifecycle of configure to License, Order to contract and customer support business processes for IT solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring Order to license setups, debugging and triaging Install Base and service contracts issues.
  • Hands on Working Experience and Architecture understanding of EDI with regards to external Vendors such as third-party logistics (3PL’s), third party Maintainers (TPM’s) and third-party repair vendors(3PR’s).
  • Expert knowledge on Oracle ERP functional modules, not limited to Oracle Order Management, Inventory, Customer Master, Standard Pricing, Install Base and Service contracts.
  • Expert working knowledge of SOA integrations, B2B messaging, flat file transfers, Oracle advance queue, Oracle Workflow and TCA architecture.
  • Experienced in analyzing and supporting new product introduction (NPI) transactions on Order to License process flow.
  • Hands-on experience on various architectural components related to Oracle ERP Such Forms, Databases, Interfaces and Concurrent Program services. 
  • In depth Architectural Understanding of Oracle 11i (11.5.9/11.5.10) / R12 & Oracle Fusion Cloud (Preferred).
  • Oracle upgrade or Implementation experiences is preferred.
  • Strong working understanding of SAAS tools such as Baxter Planning or similar planning tools.
  • Strong Understanding of numerous Service logistics related Planning and RCA Processes. 
  • Exposure to Custom apps such as Minster and RCA/RCCA tools.
  • Solid Understanding of Various Cloud types i.e. IAAS, PAAS and SAAS.
  • Must have solid Understanding of Private Cloud ecosystem solution approaches. Private cloud or Hybrid cloud solution enablement or implementation for business solutions is an added advantage.
  • Deep Understanding of top three Cloud Hyperscalers i.e. Azure, GCP and AWS preferred.
  • Hands on and deep understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), preferably Automation Anywhere and Chatbots such as ELIO. 
  • Working Experience in Various Compliance initiatives such as GTC & ROHS. 
  • Working Experience of building Flat File transfers on a large scale in Service logistic space using SOA and other methodologies.
  • Working Experience with middleware technologies such as SOA.
  • Working Experience of API’s, XML, EDI transfers including RosettaNet PIP’s. 
  • Deep Understanding of Information Security and Gateway technologies such as Axway is preferred.
  • Working Experience with SAP CRM and how it interacts with Oracle SCM and Customer support applications.
  • Deep understanding of key interfaces across Support logistics space. 
  • Hands-on exposure to tools such as MS Project, Visio, Balsamiq, SQL Developer, Toad and Putty.
  • Must have an Architecture Mindset that envisions Scalability, Security, cost effectiveness and on time delivery. 
  • Ability to work cross functionally to support Major Milestones and Key Initiatives. Along with a team player, individual contributor with Good Communication is a must.  
  • Must be able to present POC’s, Feasibility Analysis to Higher Management and wider audience.
  • Fast learner, Collaboration and leadership skills are required.

The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations,  is [$Hiring Range Min] – [$Hiring Range Max]. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education,  skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law.  In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).

Salary : $156,000 - $197,000
