About the opportunity:
NetDocuments is seeking a highly skilled, cost-conscious Procurement Manager to join our growing organization to manage our company’s procurement function. The procurement manager will be the primary point of contact between NetDocuments and our suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess hardware, software, cloud solutions, support, staffing, and outsourced network support sourcing experience, with a primary focus on managing spend with our IT vendors. This position will report to the Senior Vice President, Finance. Additional requirements and responsibilities associated with this position include:
Responsibilities:
- Work with Accounting, Finance, IT Operations, R&D, Legal, and Marketing departments as needed
- Procurement Process and Enforcement: Design, document, and enforce a procurement policy/workflow. Design a training course and hold regular sessions and/or record for new employees as well as refreshers
- Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders for their purchases to scope and understand the specifications and expectations of a procurement event. Ensure collaboration with adjacent functions including legal, compliance, security, IT and finance to mitigate risks. Collaborate with accounting on key interrelated programs, including POs and company credit cards
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate favorable terms with selected suppliers and perform thorough contract reviews and cost analyses to maximize the value of our purchases
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain a vendor relationships in a positive and effective manner. Manage a vendor & contract database, contract renewals, and vendor performance
- Continuous improvement: Continue to evolve the function from current state to a best in class future state
Requirements:
- 7 years working experience in SaaS industry procurement
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related experience
- CPM or CPSM certification
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
- Excellent negotiator with in-depth knowledge of tech-related suppliers
- Strong communicator with all levels of a business and external parties
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
