Job Description
We are seeking a talented Project Manager - Level III to join our team in Aurora, CO. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing project tasks, coordinating team efforts, managing risks, ensuring quality control, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Schedule tasks and allocate resources to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate project tasks among team members, ensuring clear understanding and alignment with project goals.
- Monitor task progress and make adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle and adjust plans as needed.
- Ensure that tasks are completed to the required quality standards.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to verify task quality and compliance.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project tasks, progress, and outcomes.
- Generate regular reports to communicate task status to stakeholders.
- Develop and define performance metrics to evaluate project success and effectiveness.
- Ensure metrics align with project goals and organizational objectives.
- Collect and analyze data related to project performance.
- Communicate performance reports to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Address any questions or concerns stakeholders may have regarding project performance.
- Use performance reporting to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Implement changes to enhance future project performance.
- Develop and implement a communication plan that outlines how information will be disseminated throughout the project.
- Identify key stakeholders and determine their communication needs.
Qualifications
Required
- PMI, PMP or equivalent as approved by COR, ITIL 4 Foundation.
- Six (6) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency.
Preferred
- Federal Consulting Industry Experience Preferred
- Current or past DHA support experience preferred
