As an E-Rate coordinator, you’ll be a contributing member of our vertical programs management team, directly supporting our E-Rate program initiatives. The E-Rate program is one of our most important business programs in North America. This role would be a member of our E-Rate team, enabling operational efficiency with our field sales, insides sales and channel partners, which contributes to the client's U.S. sales in Education.
Roles & Responsibilities The E-Rate Analyst is responsible for reviewing and qualifying new bids on a daily basis as part of the USAC E-Rate Program for schools. The E-Rate Analysts will read and qualify each bid and coordinate with field sales teams and partners to ensure a timely response. All bids will be documented and tracked in spreadsheets. E-Rate Analysts will also be responsible for reviewing and documenting resulting E-Rate bid awards and communicating to the appropriate field sales teams and partners to maintain accurate sales forecasting.
Responsibilities include:
• Receive training from client on E-Rate program, our bid process workflow, and how this role fits into the team
• Follows said process steps and requirements for the management of E-Rate bid proposals
• Develops a practical knowledge of client's offerings including systems/software, hardware, and services
• Identify and qualify all E-Rate opportunities with company footprint
• Keep track of all proposals in terms of progress and due dates
• Contact all parties required and assign tasks with follow-up dates
• Maintain professional and courteous communication and timely responsiveness with internal and external clients via phone and email
• Perform analysis as needed on wins, losses, and market trends
• Keep track of all E-Rate bid awards in terms of named partner and manufacturer
• Communicate bid awards with appropriate field sales teams and partners Required Skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Adobe Acrobat experience
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks at the same time
• Strong attention to detail for quality assurance
• Timeline & goal-driven – can work backward from a given due date to assign resources, as required
• Proficient communication skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, possibly high-pressure environment
