Recently, the Bank launched a multi-year transformation program with the objective to change and enhance the way the Bank is operating. By performing a comprehensive review of its risk management practices, controls, “end to end” business processes, and technology infrastructure, the goal is to provide both immediate and long-term solutions to improve the operating efficiency and overall risk & control management framework.  In the context of this program, we are launching a project to design and implement factories for control execution and risk reporting production (the Factories project) and looking for a proactive and experienced project manager. The objective of this project is to further optimize control and risk reporting processes and achieve consistency, sustainability, quality, skills, and cost rationalization. The candidate will work closely with the Project Director and the “Organization, Transformation & Strategy” (OTS) Team and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of project activities, the project plan monitoring and tracking as well as the drafting of the deliverables.

 

To be successful in this role, He/she should demonstrate close attention to details, have strong project management skills and proven experience in transformation projects in the financial and banking industry. He/she must also be able to provide accurate, constructive and comprehensive feedback to colleagues as well as developing trusted working relationships at all levels of the organization.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

PMO:

 

  • Track and monitor project activities as per the project plan and timeline
  • Report progress status and escalate any issue to the Project Director and OTS team in a timely manner
  • Schedule, prepare and manage project committees as part of the defined project governance

 

Project deliverables:

  • Draft project deliverables based on input from the Project Director and OTS
  • Schedule workshops with key stakeholders, prepare workshop materials, lead workshops and write minutes
  • Obtain feedback from the key stakeholders on draft deliverables
  • Finalize deliverables based on key stakeholders’ feedback

 

Requirements:

 

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
  • Proficiency in MS Project and MS Excel
  • Minimum of 10 years work experience in financial service industry with demonstrated experience project management and high-stake transformation projects
  • Proven successful and timely delivery of projects
  • Exceptional organization skills, prioritization and time management skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills and strong attention to details and a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as interaction with functional teams, stakeholders and management of the firm
