Position Description:

Network Runners is seeking a highly motivated Executive Coordinator to support the Army at Picatinny Arsenal in Wharton, NJ. The selected candidate will provide managerial assistance and support for administrative operations and activities under the authority of management. The ideal candidate will have a background in calendar management, executive communication, and office management.

Responsibilities:
  • Interface with HQDA and other DoD agencies, including DA Staff, the Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center, and other defense contractors.
  • Effectively communicate on a regular basis with senior level military organizations, installation personnel, outside contractors, while assuring all technical and administrative support operations, facilities, management and master planning, and task management are proactively managed.
  • Provide Executive Office coordination, administrative and managerial support, and operations assistance for all administrative operations and activities.
  • Research current DoD, DA, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and local policy to recommend appropriate policy and procedures in relation to current projects, taskings, and issues.
  • Distribute (e-mail) notices, memos, minutes of meetings, and other correspondence that would be of interest to the office or outside organizations, as necessary.
  • Support management of tasks, as required, including logging in tasks that come from internal or external agencies, such as DoD or ASA(ALT, sorting tasks, forwarding the tasks to the proper Government office and tracking the task until completed.
  • Conduct detailed coordination and follow-up related to taskings and projects of command interest.
  • Coordinate with senior level installation personnel to ensure responsiveness to all issues of command interest.
  • Support both Installation and Organizational Town Hall meetings.
  • Resolve support issues in administration, supply, maintenance, facility management, safety, public relations, and liaison activities.
  • Serve in a liaison capacity, ensuring Facilities Maintenance is reported and completed properly for grounds and facilities occupied by the office.
  • Serve as a project coordinator for assigned special programs and projects.
  • Coordinate Officer Evaluation Reports (OERs) to include managing OERs for timeliness, reviewing and processing.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of military personnel administration, policies and procedures or the ability to research.
  • Assist in the preparation and staffing of award package(s), including coordination of award ceremony.
  • Responsible for ensuring that it is properly executed and that if changes are necessary the plan is updated.
  • Ensure coordination and execution of short- and long-term plans for appropriation of and assignment of space, communication equipment, workstations and office/Information Technology (IT) equipment to support the mission.
  • Provide all requested documents, briefing materials, minutes, and information, on jointly agreed delivery dates. All Executive coordination documentation shall be delivered in a commercially acceptable format at a commercially acceptable level of technical detail and presentation quality.
Position Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or GED completion.
  • Minimum three years' experience in military protocol and history.
  • Minimum three years' experience in managerial assistance, support of administrative operations and activities to a Field Grade or General Officer.
  • Candidate must be a U.S Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain active/current Secret Clearance.
