As part of our growth, Neurocare is currently hiring for an Administrative Scheduling Coordinator based at our headquarters in Newton, MA. or remotely in New Hampshire, Connecticut, Georgia, Tennessee or Illinois. This position requires a confident self-starter with a solid work ethic and great communication skills.
Primary duties include:
- Provides excellent customer service to patients and physician offices in order to coordinate the scheduling and completion of diagnostic sleep testing (HEAVY PHONE WORK - Inbound and outbound calls)
- Obtains patient history and all appropriate clinical data prior to appointment
- Educates patients regarding the type of sleep testing ordered, the registration and study process, and additional services available
- Communicates and works with clinical team to ensure appropriate staff availability to meet patient needs and access to services
- Interacts with physicians, insurance providers, and others to address and resolve a variety of issues and concerns
- Reports weekly and monthly information pertinent to assigned sites
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience required
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software quickly
- High level of organization and accuracy
- Exceptional telephone manner
- Superior verbal and written communication, reflecting enthusiasm and professionalism
- Dependability, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, problem solve and follow-through are essential
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Medical background not necessary but preferable
- Remote environment must provide privacy, with secure password protected internet access. No other concurrent responsibilities during scheduled work hours.
