Job Description Nevada State University (NSU) actively maintains an open pool of qualified individuals to be selected on an as-needed basis by the department to fulfill part-time temporary instructional needs and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. NSU invites applications for an open pool of adjunct faculty for in-person, online or hybrid courses in Criminal Justice. Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability. Adjunct faculty members are compensated at the rate of $1,000 per credit hour. Courses are 3 credits. Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or closely-related field. Evidence of a strong commitment to teaching, educational excellence, and mentoring undergraduate students.
