JOB SUMMARY Under the direction of the clinical director, clinical coordinator, Registered Nurse (RN), the Critical Care Technician (CCT) will assist in the delivery of care to patients and their family. The CCT fulfills these duties to contribute to the continuity and quality of care that fosters the best interest and well-being of the patient and family.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Education: High School Graduate or GED, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Completion of certified nursing training program, or experience as home health aide, or enrolled in nursing program, or equivalent healthcare experience.
- Licensure, Certification, Registration: BLS within 90 days of hire.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Associated degree.
- Experience: Experience in an acute care facility or equivalent; computer and clerical experience.
- Licensure, Certification, Registration: Current CNA in the State of Connecticut and completion of the PCT Core Curriculum exam from a certificate program.
