Lifeguard
Under the direct supervision of the Director of OT, PT and APE the lifeguard is responsible for performing lifeguarding duties as assigned and scheduled during the school day operation of the NECC pool. This position involves 18 – 30 hours of on-shift lifeguarding time each week.
General Job Responsibilities:
Life Guarding and Pool Facility Management- Perform life guarding duties as assigned and scheduled
- Monitor laundry room. Assure students’ bathing suits are laundered and ready for lessons.
- Complete pool opening and closing procedures as appropriate
- Monitor all pool chemicals levels, according to schedule, and perform any necessary maintenance.
- Continually assess safety and cleanliness of pool and report any anomalies to Director of OT/APE.
- Brush and vacuum pool, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Current lifeguard certification
- Valid driver’s license
