What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate position at New England Spas?
New England Spas is seeking to hire a retail associate to become and expert in hot tub supplies and accessories! This person will deliver premier customer service, assist with retail and administrative operations of the store, and assist customers in finding the right products and accessories for their hot tubs. This position can be full-time or part-time – flexible hours can be arranged. Weekend availability is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Become a chemical and accessory sales expert
- Have knowledge of spas and the sales process
- Grow revenue of the retail department
- Greet customers
- Answer the phone
- Respond to and handle customer complaints and be able to troubleshoot service issues
- Open and/or close the store; perform register reconciliation and register payment listings
- Attend trainings, as needed
- Keep the retail area clean, organized and stocked
- Assist with the sales floor daily duties
- Participate in yearly stock inventory
- Organize and maintain the stock room/storage, customer pick up areas; keep neat and orderly
- Handle customer special orders
- Prepare shipping orders
- Assist in the design and maintenance of showroom displays and signage
- Perform water care lessons with new customers
- Other general duties as assigned

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
