Program Manager I

Cameo Global, a New Era Technology Company is seeking a hardworking, passionate Program Manager to join our Program Management Team, to manage industry leading Optical Hardware Development programs within the Service Provider Group. The primary responsibilities of the role are:
Manage moderate complex development programs

• Prepare program plans and schedules, working closely with Teams from Engineering, Supply chain and support functions
• Identify risks and devise mitigation plans to avoid or minimize impact and deliver products per commitments (Schedule, Quality, Budget)
• Accurate program budget planning and tracking, pro-active management of budget and spending, making appropriate decisions to meet budget goals
• Manage prototype activities, including identification of key components, planning of build schedules and management of proto allocations
• Lead program team and ensure all cross-functional members are performing as required
• Conduct program reviews and provide/present accurate program status and progress reports to Program Teams and Senior Management
• Ensure that program follows Cisco/ISO/TL9000 processes

Essential Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2-3 years of Program management experience in Hardware Engineering Development or similar environment
• Technical Competence to the degree required for effective interaction with Engineering
• Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
