SUMMARY :
We are seeking a skilled Field Resource Technician with expertise in installing and servicing audio-visual (AV) and physical security systems.
The ideal candidate will have an intermediate understanding of programming Crestron equipment, as well as experience with Avigilon, Brivo, and OpenPath systems.
Familiarity with DSC intrusion systems, door intercoms, and infrastructure cabling is essential. This role requires a hands-on professional who can work independently or as part of a team to ensure the successful installation, programming, and maintenance of various AV and security systems.
PRIMARY DUTIES :
Install, configure, and test audio-visual systems, including displays, projectors, speakers,
and control systems (e.g., Crestron).
Set up and program physical security systems, including cameras (Avigilon),
access control systems (Brivo, OpenPath) and intrusion detection systems (DSC).
Install and configure door intercom systems.
Program Crestron systems to meet client specifications.
Configure and program Avigilon, Brivo, and OpenPath systems according to project requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues related to AV and security systems.
Run and terminate cables for AV and security systems, including structured
cabling (CAT5e / 6,fiber optics, etc.).
Install and manage infrastructure cabling to support AV and security devices.
Ensure all cabling is installed according to industry standards and safety regulations.
Testing and Troubleshooting :
Perform system testing to ensure proper operation and functionality.
Diagnose and repair technical issues related to AV and security systems.
Provide on-site support to resolve installation and operational challenges.
Program Crestron systems to meet client specifications.
Configure and program Avigilon, Brivo, and OpenPath systems according to project requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues related to AV and security systems.
Interact with clients to ensure their needs are met and provide technical support as required.
Offer training to end-users on how to operate installed systems.
Always maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
5 years' experience with installation of Physical Security and Audio-Visual devices.
Experience in a field service role or similar position
Strong people skills required
Proven ability to establish, manage and prioritize multiple projects with excellent project planning and execution skills
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices of AV and security installations
LANGUAGE SKILLS : Employee should be fluent in English.
