Position Information
New Hanover County is looking for a Custodian to join the Facilities Management Department. Responsibilities for this role include :
- Cleaning floors and stairwells, entryways, hallways, offices, and break rooms
- Cleaning, sanitizing, disinfecting, and restocking of restrooms
- Removing and disposing of trash

Hours : Monday - Friday, 12 : 00pm - 8 : 30 pm. .Building location assignment may vary depending on the needs of the department.
Some shifts include evenings and weekends.
Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and during emergency situations.

Salary Information :
The hiring salary for this position is $17.00 per hour, $35,360.00 annually plus a competitive benefits package. Salary will be determined based on qualifications, internal equity, budget, and market considerations.
