Peer Recovery Coach

The Peer Recovery Coach is responsible for the life cycle of bringing clients into our peer support network and working as a Peer Recovery Coach.

This involves networking, strategic partnerships, meeting with potential clients, and onboarding them into our system. This role will aim to drive growth through a multitude of channels and help bring our life-changing services to as many individuals in need as possible.

• Strong communication, empathy and interpersonal skills
• Developing connections with social and medical organizations
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Deep understanding of the peer support community
• Motivated individual looking to drive positive change

Principal Duties and Personal Attributes as a Peer Recovery Coach:

Assist individuals with recovery planning, relapse prevention, housing needs, and education/employment

Exhibit a nonjudgmental approach, listen with empathy, and have the ability to support people in discovering their own solutions

Ability to share personal lived experience in a way that empowers others

Qualifications:

• At minimum, High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals
• Experience working with or in tandem with peer support networks

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
