At New Life Serenity Center, we believe that empowering women transforms entire communities. We are looking for a dedicated Research Volunteer to contribute to our impactful programs. This flexible, unpaid position requires 5-10 hours per week and involves close collaboration with our Leadership team to help drive organizational objectives.
Your Impactful Role
As a Research Volunteer, you will contribute valuable insights that help shape our programs and initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include
Training You will receive 3-5 hours of initial training to equip you for your research role and familiarize you with our mission and objectives. Your Impactful Role
As a Research Volunteer, you will contribute valuable insights that help shape our programs and initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include
- Conducting thorough research on funding opportunities, grant requirements, and trends related to women’s empowerment and sobriety.
- Drafting compelling grant proposals and community resource reports to support our mission.
- Collaborating with team members to outline project objectives and develop strategic plans for program implementation.
- Maintaining organized records of research findings and grant submissions to facilitate effective tracking and reporting.
- Identifying best practices and innovative approaches from successful organizations to inform our program development.
- Participating in team meetings to discuss research progress and align strategies with organizational goals.
- A background in social sciences, nonprofit management, or related fields is preferred.
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Availability during EST office hours for virtual meetings and collaboration.
- A high level of confidentiality and respect for sensitive information.
- Familiarity with grant writing and fundraising best practices is a plus but not mandatory.
