Position
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Clinical Director will lead our companies clinical services - including clinical supervision, reflective supervision, and training in evidence-based programs and best practices - as well ensure our company services model is effectively implemented across all agency programs.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee medical and health service activities and personnel
- Provide agency-wide leadership in mental health and addiction, including tailoring training content to ensure all staff develop competencies specific to their role
- Provide Clinical Supervision for unlicensed associates and licensed therapists, including:
- Weekly Clinical Group Supervision
- Individual Supervision as needed
- Regular review of client records, assessments, and treatment decisions
- Respond to and provide guidance for clinical issues that arise for supervisees
- Ensure that clinical practices of associates meet state and other licensing standards
- Develop, review, and revise clinical and program policies as needed
- Establish, monitor, and review clinical outcomes and use them to drive improvement of services and programs
- Participate in and provide clinical feedback during weekly Case Reviews
- Stay abreast of best practices, evidence-based practices, funding and service trends
- Support the goals of the Strategic Plan and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Plan
- Establish and enforce policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Master's (Required)
- License in CA as an LMFT, LCSW, or Clinical Psychologist (Required)
- Five years’ experience as a clinical supervisor or Three years’ experience in a clinical or program management role
- Prior experience working in community mental health
- Nuanced understanding of the impact of trauma (generational, complex, historical, and community) on families
- Commitment to reflective practice, trauma-informed care, and principles of diversity, equity and inclusion
- Effective communication (verbal and written) with a diverse group of people including clients, therapists, colleagues
- Professional, resourceful, tactful style with the ability to respond immediately and appropriately in different contexts
- Qualified applicants must successfully background check
- Access to a reliable automobile, current insurance and valid driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
