GENERAL SUMMARY:
Evaluates houses eligible for weatherization under the state DOE weatherization program, prepares jobs for contractors, oversees contractor work and does final inspection of weatherization work.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, and ABILITIES:
1.Knowledge of Agency policies, practices, and procedures.
2. Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
4. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff,
management, clients, vendors, and various other business and community contacts.
5. Ability to provide effective supervision and direction to contractors,
including skills in motivating, coaching, and mentoring.
6. Ability to provide training for contractors.
7. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
8. Excellent time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure,
prioritize projects, and meet deadlines.
9. Skills in operating various office equipment, including a personal computer,
printer, electronic typewriter, facsimile machine, photocopying machine,
calculator, ten-key adding machine, paper shredder, telephone system, etc.
10. Ability to develop and maintain record keeping systems.
11. Ability to work with confidential information.
12. Ability to work in a team-based environment.
13. Ability to adapt to the organization's changing needs.
14. Ability to pass a physical examination.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A High school diploma or its equivalent. Two years experience in the construction trade preferred.
