Position Summary
The Undergraduate Global Opportunities Administrator handles the advising and student services aspects of the Global Leaders and Scholars in STEM (GLASS) Honors Program, the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) exchange program, and short-term global programming opportunities. Advises students regarding program requirements and policies, completion of program deliverables, and other questions/concerns about the program. Coordinates special funding, ensuring that student funding requests are following program funding guidelines for approved expenditures. In addition, supervises UGA student workers to ensure overall effective and efficient operations for the UGA Office.Qualifications
Required Education:Bachelor's Degree in a related area Preferred Education:Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced academic environment. Discretion and ability to handle sensitive issues. Proficient in using Student Information Systems (SIS) and Airtable. Required Experience:2 years experience including operations, event planning, managing budgets, supervision or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Office, Google Docs, and Adobe Pro. Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Detail-oriented and ability to multitask in a fast paced academic environment. In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $63,000.00 to USD $77,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
