Corteva
Agriscience is seeking an experienced Demand Analyst to
join our team. The Demand Analyst within Supply Chain will
participate in the development of computer applications that meet defined
product and demand forecasting requirements. These applications
facilitate the sharing of information to assist business decision-making and to
support the daily operations of the business. Team with technical staff to
manage SAS development and production environments. Manage database
updates and connectivity. Primary data steward for multiple key
variables. Responsible for transforming data into information via reports
and graphic development.

Responsibilities - What
You Will Do:

- Demand
Planning Application and Report Development: 25%
Analyze, design, prototype, test, document and implement new or modify existing
software to support demand planning applications. Projects may involve
both specification design and code development. Work entails creation of
basic to moderately complex executable programs and/or reports, and
troubleshooting and communicating business needs to IT. Work also
includes coordination with technical staff to identify and implement optimum
development and production environments. Ensure systems delivered meet
the defined business requirements and timelines.
- Demand
Planning Data Management: 25%
Ensure
data integrity for completeness, accuracy, process flows, and reporting
accuracy. Monitor validity of SPIN (Sybase) data being utilized by other
tools/applications. Maintain highest level of stewardship for specific
databases. Continually review data extraction and data loading routines,
recommending procedural improvements for data storage, decision tools, design
and report formats. Ensures information timelines, accessibility, accuracy
and relevancy. Partner with Product Line Managers to update/load product
trait characteristics into database. Steward of North America Product
lists.
- Systems/Project
Management: 20%
Enhance
data collection processes where applicable to maintain health of system(s) and
ease of use. Support the utilization of the demand planning systems and
information. Investigate software and data related problems, analyze, and
recommend solutions. Identify opportunities where system improvements may
facilitate improved forecasts. Manage demand planning and other system security. Participate
on and support project teams driving Supply Chain strategy advancement and
process improvement efforts including implementation efforts involving new
reporting or system enhancements.
- User Support: 20%
Work
with Leadership / Project Stewards in defining project plans, estimating
timeline dates. Regularly report and coordinate project status with other
project owners. Create playbooks, job tutorials, job aids for the various
tools and processes. Application support for Users at all geography
levels.
- Supply
Chain & Professional Development: 10%
Support ongoing
investigation and development of systems, technology, data analytics and
processes that support Corteva’s journey of increasing supply chain maturity
and digitization. Interface with business stakeholders, thought partners,
academia and others to increase knowledge in this realm.
Qualifications
Requirements- Who You
Are:
What expertise have you
grown? What do you bring to the table?
- Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science AND/OR equivalent experience in computer field,
preferably with agribusiness background
- 2+
years’ experience in data management
- Advanced
knowledge with Microsoft Office Products (Access, Excel)
- Intranet
development tools (In-House Tools) and integrating information management tools
- Project
management and excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with demand
forecasting applications
- Knowledge
of SAS (SAS Analytical Software)
- Knowledge
of data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Knowledge
of SQL
- Knowledge
of SAP structure and functionality
