Job DescriptionAs a Graphic Designer, you'll have a supportive role in taking projects to the final stage of development. This position requires working closely with our Creative Leads (art directors & copywriters) to ensure the precision of graphic elements and preparation of files for print or digital publication – in scaling products within our pharmacy services business (CVS / Caremark). In this role you will be blending both creativity and technical skills to format layouts and/or images.
You will be managing the “behavioral nudges” for a suite of products, which are an important part of how our company is addressing system problems with healthcare and a special focus on pharmacy in the United States. 6 out of 10 adults have a chronic disease, and 4 out of 10 of two or more. 9 out of 10 adults lack the health knowledge and resources needed to manage care and prevent disease. That’s where this team comes in and uses marketing tools to send health prompts to members, guiding them to manage their prescriptions and navigate the complex care system in a friendly way.
This position requires a meticulous personality, an incredible eye for detail, rigid following of brand guidelines, and a mastery of Adobe CS and the entire print production process. You are as capable of thinking on a systems-level down to pixel-perfection. Diligence is required in organizing and backing up files. Think of yourself as having technical expertise, but also love being immersed in creative work.
Fundamental Components:
• Liaise with creative leads to finalize projects
• Own the delivery of campaign assets
• Manage prepress process for print files
• Follow deadlines to ensure timely publications
• Keep up-to-date with trends in graphic design techniques and software
In addition to playing a role in helping shape the martech landscape at CVS Health, you have a chance to be on the cutting edge of marketing the largest healthcare company in the United States! The Behavior Change Marketing organization is part of a “Transformation” business unit stood up after the integration of Aetna and CVS Health (now a “Fortune 5” company in scale). This organization has six small teams producing high volume test and learn on different permutations of messaging and behavioral economic principles. There is a heavy partnership with data science, which develops predictive models to identify the CVS members that should be getting an intervention message.
