What You’ll Get to Do:

As a FedSelect Administrator will provide all aspects of training, operations, and maintenance of the FedSelect tool as needed by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).   FedSelect is a cost-effective software tool, created by acquisition specialists for acquisition specialists, that standardizes and simplifies the proposal evaluation phase of a source selection.

More About the Role:

You will apply your procurement background to the source selection aspect of competitive acquisition. Supporting the pre-award phase, you are contributing to the vision MDA programs have for carrying out their missions. This position allows you to work closely with dynamic teams of government and contractor personnel to realize the vetting of opportunities solicited by MDA.  As a FedSelect Administrator your responsibilities will include:

• Meeting with MDA source selection team leaders to determine best use of FedSelect for each acquisition;
• Providing customized FedSelect data files tailored to each acquisition;
• Assisting MDA and other MDA support contractors in loading data files to an isolated network;
• Preparing and providing hands-on initial training on use of FedSelect to source selection team members;
• Providing technical support to source selection team members as they document evaluation results;
• Providing support during source selection consensus activities;
• Providing procedures and advice to assist appointed source selection team data manager with management of source selection information and generation of reports in FedSelect;
• Assisting the source selection team in capturing source selection information generated in FedSelect on a compact disk or other medium for the contract file upon completion of evaluations;
• Supporting meetings as required;
• Communicating regularly with the MDA Source Selection manager on FedSelect issues impaction source selection teams;
• Providing input to MDA policies and procedures enabling the Agency to fully utilize FedSelect; and
• Assisting in developing processes and procedures to receive proposals.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and one year of applicable Government contracting experience; and
• Experience in the ability to apply procedures, requirements, and policies related to training and customer support in the use of the FedSelect tool (training included).

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Experience with source selections; and
• Experience with a source selection evaluation tool.
