Because of the growth and ambition of NewCold, we are looking for a Fleet Program Manager Europe to join our transport team.
About the vacancy
The role is involving setting up and managing a central fleet strategy, coordinate potential synergies between country organizations and support our local experts taking into consideration local requirements. In addition, the transition to a net zero fleet will require particular attention in the job role.
What will you do?
- Create a central fleet strategy that can be adapted to local needs and optimizes central learning
- Together with local teams work on a structured way of fleet management, taking into consideration a general process whilst adapting to local rules and requirements.
- Engage in new fleet tenders, supporting the local team with expertise and make sure governance regarding fleet purchase is executed in a proper way.
- Focus on maintenance and sourcing programs to improve the maintenance profile of each of our country focused transports organizations.
- Optimize the use of data / information available from truck and trailer, to improve the operation of the assets
- Become an expert on new net zero fleet initiatives and drive our sustainability transition towards 2030

Who are we looking for?
You have a deep understanding of the technical aspects of our truck and trailer fleet, are ambitious to work on our sustainability transition and have a good understanding of maintenance and financing in relation to trucks and trailers. You are used to working in an international environment and in diversified teams. You can deal with rapidly changing conditions and have the creativity to come up with solutions when needed. You can manage upwards, keeping team members informed about important issues, and present clearly and precisely to stakeholders, enabling others to understand the key facts and issues.
- More than 7 years’ experience in Transport industry and fleet management
- Preferred experience in trucks and / or trailer sales and / or associated services
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain
- Good project management skills.
- Previous international environment experience.
- Flexible, down to earth, and cross-cultural communicational skills.
- Professional communication skills.
- Fluent in English, any other European Language is a plus
- Willing to travel when required.
