What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter, Newegg Staffing position at NewEgg?

This is a full-cycle recruiting position that focuses primarily on supporting the direct hire needs of the branch network and its clients.
  • Develops and carries out recruiting strategies and processes.
  • Recruits, interviews and selects qualified candidates through evaluating the candidate's qualifications and education; based on the client’s requirements.
  • Conducts job order intake calls with client to discover needs and discuss recruiting strategy and placement process.
  • Closes the client on the search and obtains the signed agreement to engage Newegg Staffing services.
  • Utilizes “proactive” recruiting techniques to identify passive candidates via their network for referrals and outreach to candidates that aren’t on job boards. Scours websites, job boards, and Avionte for qualified candidates of open direct hire orders.
  • Scrubs and publishes job postings on various websites, job boards, and Avionte to ensure they are accurate, professional, and meets the EEOC policies.
  • Negotiates all placement fees/guarantees with the client and partners with both the client and candidate as a 3rd party to negotiate all components of the offer. (i.e.. Salary, bonus, PTO)
  • Focuses on account management through continuous follow-up calls, emails, and on-site visits with clients to obtain future business.
  • Presents viable candidates to clients for placement consideration.
  • Prepares and debriefs both candidate and client throughout the interview and placement process.
  • Delivers top-notch customer service to candidates, clients, and field employees alike.
  • Partners with field branches to assist in new business generation by sharing client leads.
  • Completes administrative tasks including posting positions, tracking candidate status, and documenting within the company system.
  • Ensures timely billing and collections of all placements.
  • Demonstrate the company's core values, operating principles, and service differentiators

  • Minimum two years of experience in recruiting preferred

  • Previous recruiting experience required - preferably supply chain services (Manufacturing/Logistics/Transportation)

  • Works independently

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Multi-tasking capabilities to meet tight deadlines under pressure

  • Must work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Flexible, highly motivated, and willing to learn

Mental Functions: Decisions may affect a work unit or area within a department. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department. This position performs a variety of routine duties within established policies and procedures or by referral to the supervisor's guidelines.

Physical Functions: Sitting required 90% of the time. Walking and standing required 5% of the time respectively. No heavy lifting required. Constant keyboarding and telephone usage.


Work Environment : Office cubicle environment with minimal exposure to the environment or health hazards
Equipment Used : Standard office and computer equipment including MS Office software.
Language Skills : Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.

Travel Requirements : Travelling for business development by road (65%).
