Audit Clerk

Position Title: Audit Clerk

Location: Pataskala, OH

Shift: Friday-Sunday 7:00am-7:30pm

Reports to: Quality Supervisor

The Quality Audit Team ensures that organizational processes – and the goods and services that result – comply with the first quality standards set forth by the business. The Audit Clerk is specifically responsible for inspecting goods/deliverables and auditing order fulfillment processes to ensure they meet with first quality, operational and efficiency standards. In this role, the audit clerk identifies, evaluates, catalogs, and communicates both wins and issues with product and fulfillment processes within the distribution center.

Responsibilities:

· Audit goods and deliverables for compliance with quality standards

· Audit inbound and outbound fulfillment processes for adherence to quality & production standards

· Identify situations, etc., where quality requirements are being met, as well as identify opportunities for improvement and communicate to Quality Supervisor

· Complete daily audit reports and communicate trends to Quality Supervisor

· Assist in keeping work area(s) orderly and void of debris

· Reinforce team member adherence to safety standards

· Operates a clean and safe work environment, ensuring that all areas of the warehouse are well maintained, kept orderly and free of debris

· Adhere to company, state, local and OSHA safety rules, report any potential violations to leadership team

· Perform other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications:

· Must have experience with computers including Microsoft Office Suite

· Must have prior warehouse experience (receiving, put-away, picking and/or packing experience a plus)

· Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively

· Must Pass Background Check and Drug Screen

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Preferred Qualifications:

· Prior experience with pallet jack and PIT a plus

· Keen eye for detail, above-average analytical and problem-solving skills

· Proficiency with use of a computer for data entry and communication

· Basic skills in Microsoft Excel other MS Office products

· Responsible, dependable and has a strong work ethic

· Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under minimal supervision

· Ability to work at a fast pace to meet demands and fulfillment deadlines

· Ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization

· Ability work independently and as part of a diverse team of auditors

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

· Must be able to stand for long periods; walk frequently; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; crawl; bend; twist; talk; and hear. Required to sit occasionally.

· Must be able to lift and/or move more than 50 pounds frequently

· Must be able to work in comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which may cause discomfort

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception
