Shift: 1st shift Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

As a Gift Assembler, you will be responsible for packaging, inspecting, and assembling various gift sets within the Manufacturing Division. We are looking for individuals with strong attention to detail and the ability to exercise good judgment to respond positively to instructions and standard procedures, with patience, and speed while maintaining a safe, healthy and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Ability to follow diagrams and sample gift set to ensure proper placement of products and accessories. Assemble neat, attractive, and quality gift sets.
- Inspect all raw, in process-and finished material and product for defects or malfunctions.
- Retrieves and/or transports necessary material and supplies to and from work area and designated locations.
- Performs various cleaning duties as required including cleaning jars, and other general cleaning and housekeeping duties.
Packs and ships customer orders into boxes and applies proper protection to prevent shifting and/or damage in transit by utilizing shipping portals as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate various equipment (i.e. scanner, boxes, box cutter, tape gun, Fed Ex shipping portal, manual lift. Etc.)
- Able to read and write in English language; basic arithmetic skills.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team are essential.
- Safety Awareness and thorough knowledge of proper lifting procedures; with the ability to stand for up to 8 hours as well as exert physical effort for weights up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to maintain engineered standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting
